What is included

Accommodation for the duration of the course

All meals from dinner on first evening to lunch on day of departure, including wine with dinner. Tea and coffee at breaktimes. Special diets can be catered for (see guest comment, right)

All tuition costs, use of printer with up to 10 sheets of A4 photo paper and a DVD for all your images and course notes. A computer is allocated to each guest for the duration of the course.

Local transport to and from photographic sites.

N.B. COST OF FLIGHTS IS NOT INCLUDED

Once you have arrived, unless the group choose to eat out at a restaurant one lunchtime (typical cost 15 - 25 euros), you will not need to spend anything extra.

Transfers* to and from Bergerac (airport, hotels, train station) or Cahors (train statio) are free of charge.

*We can collect you from the airport in our air-conditioned people carrier. We plan to meet flights arriving at Bergerac mid afternoon, which allows you to arrive in time for a welcome drink and introduction to the course before dinner. The course finishes at lunchtime on the last day. If arriving / departing very late or early in the day, then we suggest an overnight stay in one of Bergerac's comfortable hotels where we can collect you or drop you off.

Alternative airports (no pick up unless a group booking or by prior arrangement) are Toulouse (1.5 hours), Rodez (2.5 hours) and Carcassonne (2.5 hours). Flying in to Toulouse and then taking a train to Cahors is a reasonable option.

You are welcome to make your own transport arrangements if you prefer. Car hire is available at Bergerac and Toulouse airports. Driving time from Calais is 10 - 12 hours.

A non-participating partner or friend is welcome to join you at a reduced cost, and join us on outings. They may wish to relax and enjoy our beautiful rural surroundings, or be interested to spend some time taking art classes with Tricia Jewell MA - whether they are beginners or experienced.
