Images of France - Overview of Courses
"remove the mystery, create the magic..."
What courses do we offer?

Level 1: Beginners/Improvers
The course is designed with both compact camera and digital SLR users in mind.
If you are a newcomer to digital photography or have been using a camera for quite some time but are not getting the best from it this is the course for you. We will provide an excellent foundation for all your future photography.
We want to take away the mysteries that hinder producing great photographs and create some magic as you learn to see things in a new light.
Gaining a good understanding of the technical aspects of exposure is essential to achieving consistent results and will enable you to move on to using the controls in a more creative way.
We have guests with a wide range of experience and they all gain valuable knowledge and confidence - everyone has a great time learning these new skills in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere.

For those who have already attended our Level 1 course or who have a good understanding of exposure and are confident using a digital camera in the advanced mode setttings (M, Tv and Av), we offer the challenge of our Level 2 photography course.
This course is for DSLR users or those with a camera capable of shooting in RAW format, which we will be using for more control and quality.
Our key themes are "Keeping the Quality from Exposure to Print" and "Developing Individual Style and Vision".
We aim to build your technical and artistic skills, increasing your confidence and giving you the opportunity to use your imagination to make stronger images.
We will introduce you to the amazing world of Adobe Lightroom to manage and manipulate RAW images.
